That was another great day. I am so fortunate to work with outstanding people - smart, very well educated, curious, informed, funny and caring. Isn't it the biggest reward in our profession to get an opportunity to help people who you enjoy working with! We drove around Solon and Bainbridge with my new clients looking for a bigger home for this nice family. The home where they live now is immaculate! It's lovingly improved from bottom to top, tastefully decorated and meticulously maintained. You understand how eager I am to find the perfect home for this wonderful growing family.

We visited three homes in one of our finest developments. All at the same street, same size, all priced very well, all three - sad but true - foreclosed. As these houses are in a high price range, they are taken care of by listing agents, pretty clean and not vandalized. They are good deals! Why then my good reasonable buyers who will be happy to enjoy the financial advantages of today's market did not get excited about these homes? We discussed this and got the answer: these houses are not bad, or sad, or depressing. They are just short of love. It looks like previous owners before they lost these houses to the banks just had not had a chance to fall in love with their homes. They probably got some kind of "deal' from the builder or from the bank - we'll never know. But they failed to make these houses their homes, they failed to love them.

The day was still great. At the very end of our tour we finally found the Home. It is full of love. You feel it. You know it. I usually prefer showing the houses without the owners' assistance. You know, sellers may be kind of annoying when they try hard to show the best of the best in their homes. Not in this case. Great people, great home and - I am sure - that will be the best deal for the buyers.

Real Love always attracts luck. That's more than true in Real Estate. I wish the best luck to all loving sellers and caring buyers!

I love my home too.  I am glad I bought it when I did.  I couldn't afford the taxes if I bought it now nevermind the mortgage.

Gary - Thanks for comment. When we love we care... Taxes and - in many cases - mortgage stay with us forever

It is so true.  The people who had Foreclosed homes did not have the money to pay for the mortgage, let alone to pay for things that made the house unique or personal to the homeowner.  Plus a empty house looks stark and cold.

Any title with 'The Law of Attraction' in it must be a good blog!

Thanks Svetlana for posting the love, if we are lucky enough to find it, for our homes. I truly love mine and don't even mind cleaning it. Much like when the kids were first born. I wonder if I will go through a 'teen phase' with the house too? Hmm....

Yikes, I feel the love for my tiny home (I've already downsized more than most ever will), but I can't say I spend much time 'feeling the love' for my house.  I do, however, stay positive and thankful, and I hope to attract more people to me who respect my integrity and thirst for knowledge.

That's me with mine.  I love it, but after 5 kids in 10 years, my wife and I are buiding a new home....right next door.

I love my home.  We had only 3 children when we initially moved in but by April, that number will change to 6 (twins are on the way!).  Still, my husband and I love this house, the neighborhood, the community, and thought about moving for about 15 minutes, if that long!  We love this house and will do whatever we can to make it work for our growing family.  The woman we bought the house from came to visit about a month after we moved in.  She just wanted to make sure someone who loved her house was living there now.

And the love has just passed down.

Russ - Thank you for stopping by. Message of not loving the homes is spreading out by foreclosures. Another bad influence...

Tara - You are funny and RIGHT! Our homes are not our love affairs, they are our personalities in brick and mortar (if these materials are still used for construction) growing up and - alas! - growing older.Teen phase may be a little bit disasterous

Susie - I am sure you DO attract right people. Love and integrity are contageous

Larry - Good luck with your new home! Your wife and five (!) kids will be even happier there. And your new neighbors will definitely benefit from both great home and great next door neighbors.

Charlie - Thank you and all the best to you!

Renae - Wow! Congratulations and, please  love and pamper yourself now. You and your twins need it more than ever.
