Why I’m running for the NARPM King County Chapter, 2013 Vice President Position
I’d like to first announce the honor of running for the NARPM King County Chapter, 2013 Vice President position, and I’d appreciate need your support. The Chapter will be having a vote at the next meeting on Tuesday January 22nd.
When the Board asked for volunteers recently, I considered the opportunity carefully. Over the past 7 years, I have been singularly focused on building my business, from scratch, which takes a bottomless amount of hours and work! NARPM was always there, and has always been an important affiliation for our company – for the education and resources it provides, and the ability to work within a community of dedicated professional property managers to share, build and promote our Chapter to the next level.
I realized that I have something to give back to the organization that has been such a resource to me and my business. I’ve always been excited about referring and informing vendors about NARPM, and been able to bring several to monthly meetings, and working with many members on questions and issues that arise with our common work. I’m ready to do more- I want to support and grow this organization more directly, and this is a fantastic opportunity to do so.
I feel I’m the right person for the job; I want to help build a strong, vibrant Chapter membership that supports and grows our professional community! I want to hear your thoughts and ideas- as Chapter VP, I’d welcome the opportunity to work with you, and on your behalf, to build a Chapter that continues to innovate, meet your needs, grow and develop our leadership within the organization and the community!
