People Still Want to Own Homes
I love this infographic. One of problems I feel is people don't always know what they want or need in a home-and too often let others lead them.
A home is personal-it needs to fit you and your life, not your friends, relatives or co-workers' lives.
Many people forget that homes are one of the only investments you can live in. With other investments, you still have to pay money to live somewhere, so you should always factor in the difference between money paid for rent and the new mortgage payment.
According to the following Infographic, which was put out for distribution by the California Association of Realtors, people still view home ownership as the American Dream. This seems so prevalent as the market has recovered in many California communities, and prices are starting to rebound. Many areas are getting multiple offers on some great properties, helping to drive prices upward.
