Belvdere Hawthorne Kitchen Tour I am a sucker for a home tour, probably because I have chaired one.  I always look forward to the Belvedere-Tiburon Kitchen Tour every February and it is almost here again!  This year, six kitchens are featured on the tour.  I have never stopped and stayed for the lunch at the San Francisco Yacht Club, but it is supposed to be good.  The Marin IJ has provided us with a sneak peek, so check it out here. Even if you purchase your tickets in advance, bring your checkbook.  They have a great marketplace with jewelry, purses, children's things and more.  You can also buy raffle tickets ($5 each or $25 for six) for some great prizes including a Dacor kitchen, and some great trips.

Hi Ginger,
I love the idea of a kitchen tour...we've never had those in my area.  What fun, I'd be there for sure if it was near by.

My wife would totally be into that.  I'd be into that if I were there.  As the midwest is not the mecca of sailing we do have a few Yacht Clubs out here.  My parents belong to the Sturgeon Bay Yacht Club in Door County Wisconsin.  .  It's awesome and right on Lake Michigan.  Get's me excited for better weather.  I'm sure your Yacht club has a better seafood menu than ours.

CYNTHIA- I would have to imagine you have a few charity related tours nearby!  They are a ton of fun, might be worth seeking out!

NICK- You are welcome.  They are a lot of fun, and a great way to see some fabulous designs and homes you wouldn't normally get to see.

LARRY-Marin is definitely the place to be for boaters.  Yacht clubs galore.  The food is pretty darn good.  We are spoiled with cuisine!  I have never been to Lake Michigan.

JEFF- Yes, I will definitely be there.  I usually invite people who referred business to me recently to join along and make it into a little client appreciation event.  It should be fun!
