Cardinals in Ct Jan 2013

This morning we had 10 beautiful red Cardinals outside.

Winter birds, Ct

Yes, I know it's cold out, but now more than the summer the little birds need a source of food. So if you have bird feeders in the summer leave them out and fill them up. Yes there are still birds in Connecticut, you will be amazed at who will show up.

Hi David,

I totally agree as I am always filling mine. Tonight I made some sugar water, cooled it and then cleaned out the hummer feeder and rehung it. They will be surprised tomorrow as I am sure it taste better when it is fresh. My backyard birds come right up to the french doors and tap on it when the feeders are empty. They are so funny.
