They put it right there in the press release for the whole world to see. This respected provider of online mentoring and training for real estate professionals, while announcing the Top 10 iSucceed Success Modules for 2006, slipped that four-letter word into the very last paragraph. Why would they do such a thing?

mentorlogosharonsimmsThey say it's all a part of celebrating the 10 most viewed modules during the year. Seeing my module, "The Million Dollar Solo Agent," make the Top 10 list was a thrill, and I have Sharon Simms to thank for recommending me to the RISMedia folks. Sharon is also a mentor and has a new module available on Targeting the International Niche – something she has done so successfully. Sharon, of course, is typical of ActiveRain members in wanting to share her experience and wealth of knowledge. Several other Rainers also are mentors with iSucceed: Ken Deshaies, Teri Isner, and Wynne Achatz and…who did I miss?

But about that four-letter word. Well, read it for yourself:

"With this Top 10 announcement, iSucceed has decided to provide free unlimited access for the month of January. Agents can enroll by going to http://www.isucceed.com/, clicking on the Join Now button, and using the special promo code Career2007."

Rainers are always looking for ways to learn and improve as real estate professionals. So here it is – a chance to check out scores of helpful modules – FREE

Shall we start our own Top 10 List?

When you have a group of Sharers, like the CyberStars, it's not unexpected that you share in multiple venues. Congratulations on making the Top Ten!

Margaret, Congrats......    when I first saw you mention 4 letter word, of course you know what I thought of.... lol   But I stopped at that point to read the article to see what I could find and I found the word free, before moving on with your blog.

Kudos to both you, Sharon, and everyone else.

FREE is a very powerful word...that is for sure.  I have test marketed FREE items of value as part of different promotions during the past few years and most of the promotions have done exceptionally well.  My most recent FREE promotion was hosting a movie at my local movie theatre for my past clients.  I invited all my past clients to the movies for 2 different viewings of the hit movie Charlotte's Web (a very kid friendly movie).  I had the movie viewing on Saturday December 23rd and it was a huge hit and we filled every seat.  The best part of doing a family type event is that your clients know you truly care about them and their families.  FREE is a wonderful way to say THANK YOU which can be even more powerful than FREE.

Sam, Great use of FREE! Tell us more, please. How many invitations to fill the theater twice? What times were your viewings?  What do your invitations say?

What a wonderful way to say Thank You and give a gift at the same time. Thanks for sharing and welcome to Active Rain!

Hi Margaret, I sent out about 2,000 to my past clients (the ones who haven't moved out of state).  We booked over 500 seats which I thought was impressive being it was so close to Christmas.  I did a postcard mailing and the card was very simply and it required our past clients to call us to gain a confirmation number.  The confirmation number was our clients last name and the number in their party (Miller3 means miller family will be bring 3 people).  We put everyone in excel organized by their confirmation number.  The real key was that when everyone came to the theatre I had my moving truck in front of the threatre and we bought the theatre during a time that they were not open...they essentially open the theatre for my event which was really neat.  My wife, daughter and I ran the ticket booth and greeted everyone as they arrived and thanked everyone as they left after the movie.  This is the second time I have done this and I had great success with the movie "CARS" also.  You had asked about the movie times and I did a 9:00 a.m. and an 11:15 a.m. and both were very successful.

I am doing Schrek 3 in a couple of months when it debuts.  Best of luck and happy selling
