Very valid point indeed,Bryant. Maybe it is the case of the smart phone getting the better of them. However, this ranks right up there with not leaving a voicemail and also not listening to voicemails.

BB, My pet peeve is anonymous phone calls. If it says "unknown" or "withheld" I don't answer.

You know Nate, I hadn't even given this thought and I just got a new smart phone. I'll definitely have to take a few minutes today and create a proper email signature so I can make a better impression on those who receive emails for me via my phone.

Good post - we all have to stay cognizant of putting our name out there - and as Bryan said, sometimes it's just an oversight when a new phone is purchased. Some of the best marketers out there have their name and contact information on EVERY method of communication. One person I know has their phone number right beside their name so the phone number pops up as part of their name.

Fake names and anonymous emails. Had an affiliate recently saying they had a web site hit from Honey Boo Boo. For starters, she's a minor, so I doubt she's looking to buy a house in Virginia.

Great Picture Bryant! I don't like getting those either. we get a lot of emails like that from our website visitors. signature on an email are important to have, especially if you are a professional

Although the glasses are nice they are a bit much...as for a signature that seems like common sense or common courtesy or maybe both!

I just got an iPad last month, and it's a learning process.  I followed your instructions and changed my signature.  Turns out I was already covered because I send all mail from my iPad using gmail.  If I ever do use the "ipad mail" though it won't be saying it was sent from my iPad.  Thank you!

I know how you feel Bryant, every add that I post clearly states that if they dont leave a phone number and name, the email or text will be deleted with the rest of the spam.
