We were not only on vacation, it was Jeff's Birthday 12 days ago when the phone rang - It had been an awesome day Golfing on Maui at Wailea (The Beverly Hills of Maui IMHO :).
We met a great couple from Denver we golfed with. We were thankful to be paired with them to play. They were regular golfers at the Emerald Course and knew it well, and shared great tips / strategies on how to play each hole!
We came back to our cruise ship to find a special birthday cake made of towels with a hand written note from our cabin steward.
We were still docked in port, so cell phone reception was good and the phone rang......
Jeff picked it up (his motto is : when you do what you love, you never work a day in your life :)
Long story short -> over the next few days and a few more calls and emails an offer on one of our listings was presented, negotiated and accepted.
We closed today.
