iPad Aps for Realtors:

Keynote – good for listing presentations

Open Home Pro - gather info from visitors at open houses

DropBox – store, sync, share files online

DocuSign - send, track, sign documents anytime, anyplace

iAnnotate & PDF Expert – great for paperless signatures/annotations

Mortgage Loan Calculator – simple mortgage calculator

In addition to these, are the standard aps that have a lot of useful tools for agents as well as their buyers & sellers:

Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com

Here's another ap you may already be using, but are you using it to it's full potential to serve you in your real estate business?

  • EverNote – capture and remember everything and anything

Here is a 20 minute video on The Power of EverNote, specifically for Realtors:

LISTING PRESENTATIONS

The folks at NorthPoint Social have some great tools for Realtors.  They offer a “Listing Makeover” that's worth investigating.

Check out one of their videos (5 minutes) for an example of what a paperless listing presentation could look like on your iPad.

FROM START TO FINISH

The Good Life Team is a group of award winning innovators. Check out what they have to say about the iPad...

“I feel as though iPad was invented for the real estate industry,” says Krisstina Wise, founder and CEO of the GoodLife Team. “Before getting one, I had no idea it would become as useful as it has been for my company. Real estate is a mobile industry and iPad enables us to do business wherever we are, at any time. It’s the best mobile device for real estate professionals.”

This 2 minute video shares what they're doing from showing homes to signing offers.

Realtor.com also has an iPad listing presentation that includes stats from NAR.

"Secure More Listings with the iPad Listing Presentation"

And if all else fails... here is a 30 second tutorial on another use for your iPad:

The iPad is one of the best tools on the market for a Realtor. It allows you to truly be productive and polished while you're on the go.

Perfect timing, Rosi!  I just got my IPAD for Christmas and am still trying to figure out what the best apps are.  So thanks for posting.

We need to remember that not all clients are into technology.  I've found after a number of listings presentations that though the iPad is a nice extra it's the eye contact and connection we make during the first meeting that gets the seller to sign on the dotted line.

Thanks for reading and thanks for the comments!  Totally agree with you Cindy - the tools are to help us work more efficiently and not something to "hide behind" because that won't help anybody.
