It's not rocket science, but somehow the ones that list end up doing better most of the time...
Did you hear that the CEO of ForSaleByOwner.com tried to sell his home by himself and failed after marketing the home for like 6 months? He ended up listing with an agent after being unsuccessful. The agent sold the home for more than what the guy was asking on his own, and sold it pretty quickly.
Funny how almost all FSBO end up hiring an agent eventually.
I agree with Joel above. They try it, and then they give up and have a Realtor do what they thought was going to be an easy job.
