I really don't want to offend you, but I've got to be honest so I'll go ahead and say it:
Every real estate website pretty much looks the same.
Every real estate website offers pretty much the same thing
AND
98% of them are fairly useless when it comes to generating new business.
What do I mean?
Well, just look at them...look at your own, look at your colleagues, look at your competition....
They DO all look the same: pretty pictures, credentials, "Why I'm better/different" "I'll work hard(er) for you", MLS search, listings, etc
They do all offer the same thing: MLS search, Listings...and MAYBE a CMA offer or a contact us form.
And they ARE fairly useless because they are all about the agent and what the agent wants FROM the visitor....they don't offer the visitor anything truly useful from that specific agent.
Propsective buyers and sellers can get an MLS seacrh or CMA virtually anywhere, so you've got to give them something that your competitors don't or can't give them:
GIVE THEM VALUABLE INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR UPCOMING REAL ESTATE TRANSACTION...information that will help them sell faster, buy cheaper (or at least smarter), finance faster, sell for higher....something, anything. And ideally, it is something that speaks to YOUR ideal client, not just anyone and everyone.
You've got to start the relationship by giving them something that will make them like, trust and remember you. And when they have to register their name and email address in order to get that something, well then, you've got an effective website and an effective lead capture system that targets your ideal client and can transform your business and bottom line.
Give them a reason to WANT to leave their info and to WANT to work with YOU!
Just add a valuable offer to your website and sit back and watch your conversions triple, or better!
