Embracing The Simple Pleasures of Life |
Watch this video and see how others are doing it. . Embracing the simple pleasures in life. . or you need to finish an overdue project at work . . or maybe your kids need attention. . perhaps your dog needs a vet check. .and you are worry about it. . Is no wonder that 2013 is already on its way to 2014 perhaps. you feel now . .that you are missing out . ..as life passes you by. Just remember to take a step back from your daily routine. . reward yourself after a hard day’s work. . little things first. . as simple as immersing yourself in a good book, Watching a movie by yourself. . Talking to a dear friend in a marathon session while sipping on wine. . You get to choose those rewards. . and eventually graduate to the BIG ONES. .like in the video. . What do you really want to do before you die? That's not a good thing to ask yourself . . on your death bed!
JUST DO IT NOW!
We are not on a rehearsal life. . This is it!
Start by having a great weekend. .

Fernando - some good R&R is always needed and easy to miss in our business. Regards Dave
Fernando I agree one should take time for themselves, but to graduate to one of the adventures in the video? I'll pass, I'm a big CHICKEN.
Fernando, excellent blog--both the video and your words. I don't have a "bucket list" yet, but I plan to do one. Yesterday, was special. As my Partner (and Husband) and I turned onto our street, we saw the most beautiful sunset, with reds, blues and purples--life's little pleasures.
I'm glad this is inspiring people. .
personally, I want to sky dive. ..just don't tell my wife. .
is on my plans. .
Thanks Fernando, after this week I need a little Friday Fun, hopefully I can enjoy the weekend and forget about this week until Monday.
You are right - it's great to R&R, but I think we all agree that we must pay for these "events" in our life and so we do need to work first. :) I noticed a lot of young people in the video and I am guess their parents (who are working and not getting much R&R) are paying for the playtime. I have started a bucket list and my husband and I have actually went away 6 times this year . . . a record for us, and we had a great time - but we definitely worked hard many years first.
Everyone needs a little r & r. That's why our office is closed until Tuesday!
