Light My Fire!
It's January and rather cold but the sunset at Avonia Beach on Lake Erie just takes my breath away every time. Look closely at the photo and you see a dusting of snow but the glow from the setting sun just lights a fire in my soul.
Time to hurry up the hill & home for dinner. Good night, my friends.

Thankfully we've recently had warmer weather. We were in the 20s for days on end and that's just too cold for me!
Hello Mary, You are so lucky to be by Lake Erie (most the time) I know you do get lake effext snow storms going north to Buffale but Erie is great.
Donna, Brr! I can feel the cold as it has been high 20's here. Today it might have reached 30, but next week the teens. That is double BRRRR!!!
Will, I have to chuckle. Yes, I feel lucky to live where I live 99.9%. Now once in awhile I do like to escape for other parts of the world. The last two years we have had very few of those infamous 'lake effect' storms. No complaints.

Thankfully, we have a beautiful sunny day in Maryland and no snow on the ground.
