11 Comments on Scottsdale Events: Street Eats Food Truck Festival
Joyce-sounds like a fun event. We're starting to see more food trucks as well in the Seattle area. They're a big hit at the wineries just east of Seattle.
Adrian - I wasn't sure what it was going to be like, and I haven't had so much fun in a long time! I would think they'd do very well at your fabulous wineries!
Joyce, Food Trucks are becoming a big hit here in Jacksonville, especially in the downtown areas, but they also visit office complexes during the week. They are always at special events, like ArtWalk in downtown the first Tuesday of the month.
Sharon
PS I have some Food Truck shots I am going to share as soon as I have time to upload them and write about them :)
Fremont, Ca. does a Street Eats event every week during the spring thru fall months. It is sponsored by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce and held in the parking lot of a local high school. I have blogged about it.
Good food and good fun!
Congrats on the Feature, Joyce! Sorry I missed the event!!
It's great to know this is a trend across the country. Sharon, love to see your blog when you get those pictures up and running.
Hi John,
I'm from the Bay Area and know Fremont well. The East Bay has really grown and in a positive manner. Now I have something to add to my list of things to do when I visit our family in Orinda! Thanks for sharing.
I used to do this and not only fun, but lots of loyal customers too...I found some very good foods and treats from trucks
Darn - I missed it! That was the weekend I was doing volunteer yard work at Tovrea Castle in Phoenix!
Salt River Fields has events almost every weekend. I notice, because I eat at the Denny's nearby, and the parking at The Pavillions fills up.
Dear Rich,
It was a great event. I had read that the previous event like this was somewhat disorganized - I can tell you they really had it together for this event! So much fun. The Pavillion was totally full as well due to the classic car show they put on. It's always big and busier during the Barrett-Jackson.
