HomeTelos is a Nightmare to Deal With!

It seems like today everyone wants a deal.  As with my client who just had to buy a foreclosure I cautioned her that it could take a while and dealing with #HOMETELOS can be a nightmare.  We have been delayed and delayed, told our paperwork was not right - although we followed their step by step instructions and double/tripple checked it.  Apparently they don't even know their directions so it is impossible.  Even when they ask for corrected paperwork they failed to submit their part right which lead to further delays because of their mistakes.  A simple termite inspection, must be done on their paperwork.  If the process was done when it was supposed to be done, it should not result in a delay however not with #HOMETELOS.  They forgot to order, it was put on a rush and paperwork in the residence indicates it was done a week ago, however HomeTelos advises that they have no way to rush it and it may take up to an additional MONTH #HOMETELOS delay because they can't rush it any more.  Photographs showing work done meant nothing.  Infact, HomeTelos would not even return emails, calls or voicemails.  They simply did not respond leaving the client out in the cold.  They did however #STOPTHECLOSING because of their error.

Dealing with foreclosures can be a deal but you have to be willing to deal with the banks etc. For example, #HomeTelos is extremely difficult to deal with. Good luck getting an answer in a timely manner and don't expect them to even know what paperwork needs to be done. Following #HomeTelos instructions to the letter still can result in getting back a contract from them explaining you did it wrong when you followed their own instructions. Talking to anyone at #HomeTelos will not yield you any quicker results. Despite their errors they are difficult and irritating to work with. Expect delays and inconsistencies throughout the process and you will close when they are good and ready and not a minute before!

Come on, we have enough problems not ot have compounded by the #IncompetenceofHOMETELOS. Get it together.  No wonder the country is in such a mess, you have a qualfied buyer, ready to close for over one month and you can't close because you can't be rushed after messing up the process.  Who is monitoring #HomeTelos.  This is a disgrace.

This is HUD.  They don't know what the heck they are doing. One person says do this, the next says something else.  No matter who you talk to or what you do there is no one who is even trying.  To top if off we ask since they made the mistake with the termite could the law firm waive the 5 day delay to close, and they advised me HUD made the 5 day rule and if they would waive it then we could close earlier, however HUD says it is the law firm making the 5 day rule.  Seriously, I feel like we are stuck in limbo due to HUD not having a clue what they are doing.  So frustrating.

This is the biggest ripoff in the real estate industry....after 3 fedex's and a $120 in overnight chargers, these assholes are impossible to satisfy. They are simply the worst I have every dealt with. What a bunch of morons. Total waste of time and a disservice to HUD and its mission...

Amen!!! Hometelos just screwed us out of $1,500 and our contract. Now we're back at square one with nowhere to live at the end of the month.
