Commercial draw inspection. Working on a Sunday.

I like to have Sundays off. Especially when the Football playoffs are in full swing.

But I needed to get this inspection completed for the Bank.

When i arrived at the site there was a full crew working on getting the building completed. They were working on a Sunday so I felt a little better about being there myself.

I entered the building to get some shots of the interior and there was some men on a scissor lift working on installing the roll up doors.

Here is a shot of them to the right on the scissor lift.

I asked if they were about to complete the door, one man replied "what door", I then said

"the door your working on", Then the worker looked at the other worker  as if to look for some guidence for an answer. Then he replied      "were still working on it". I thought O.K. And went outside to get the rest of the shots of the building.

There was a crew working on the completion of the exterior of the building and I asked them if they were about to finish it up.

They all looked at each other, then one man said "we will have it done in a while"

I asked "today"?

All the man said was "maybe".

I think they did'nt want to be working on a Sunday either.

Clint isn't it nice to have work to do?  Anyway withe the comment the workers made to you I wonder if one had the name of Bob?  There you go you had the perfect opportunity to find the rascal and let him slip through your fingers.

This building is going to be for a metal fab shop. They have a welding business for the oil fields and a fab shop. Now they have a huge fab shop and work area to get a lot more done.

Actually they were really close to being completed with the building. They were about 90% completed and about two weeks ahead of schedule.

Many times I get a draw inspection request on a Friday and they want the report on the next Monday.

So off I have to go to have the report ready for the next Monday.

Sat-Sunday no matter. Work is work.
