I visited Trilogy at Vistancia today. Although I also live in Peoria I had not been out to Trilogy at Vistancia for a few months. Most of my more recent visits had been to the Discovery Center - the non active adult portion of the community. I must pass on what a gorgeous community Trilogy is. I drove by the golf course to the Kiva Club, their recreation facility, and the views were picturesque. The greens are a lush green with a rolling brooks throughout. For a minute there, I forgot I was in a desert state. I must pass on that I was awed. I also drove through the Blackstone area. This is a portion of Vistancia with the Blackstone Country Club and homes built by Cachet and TWLewis. Many of the homes were not complete - including the models, but it looked like an impressive area.
Vistancia appears to be having more commercial development nearby. There is a new Safeway being built and the Lake Pleasant Towne Center is in construction on the corner of Lake Pleasant Parkway and Happy Valley. Shopping will include Home Depot, OfficeMax, Ross, Kohl's and a Super Target. This shopping is far enough away to maintain the feel of Vistancia, but will add to the convenience of the Vistancia residents.
