Well it has been 3 years since I moved to Nashville, and I have finally recreated my life with a new job, new friends, new favorite restaurants, new favorite hangouts, and just about new everything.  Relocating my life is second nature having done it so many times in the past 10 years.  Being married to a Naval Officer required such endeavors over and over again.  While I will say that it is cumbersome, stressful, and very emotionally draining, it is also one of the reasons I consider myself to be such a strong woman.  Uprooting my whole life multiple times in such a short period of time has forced me to step outside of my comfort box. It has caused me to learn to make new friends and contacts quickly.  It has required organizational skills that are no match for the masses.  It has forced me to keep my address book in pencil, my Christmas list ever growing, and the names of my favorite paint colors in a special notebook.  Relocating to another town means new schools for your kids, new friends for you and them, new sports teams with new coaches, new weekend activities, new neighbors, new favorite weeknight date night spots, new babysitters, new networking groups, and well, new EVERYTHING!  Luckily, I have done this many times before and I know just how to maneuver this situation.  With all of that being said, I have added TN to my list of states where I hold an active real estate broker's license and have relaunched, yet again, my real estate career.  I have chosen to join the family at Benchmark Realty as it is the best fit for the way I conduct business.  I am looking forward to serving the real estate needs of families both moving into and out of Williamson County.  I will guarantee them this, I know just how to help them with all of the details of picking up a life and recreating a new one somewhere else.  I will blogging here about all kinds of things from real estate specific items, local happenings in Williamson County, my experiences as a Realtor, and funny anecdotes about my life with two kids and this crazy town.  I am hoping to make many friends along the way but this time, I am here to stay! Wish me luck!

I can be reached at Benchmark Realty, 615-371-1544 or directly at 615-507-0481.  You can also search homes for sale in Williamson County in Brentwood, Franklin, or outlying areas of the county at http://www.WilcoExpert.com

Congrats Laura!  I have always admired people that can move to a new state, without knowing anyone or anything and establish a new life.  I've lived in Southern California my entire life, granted different cities (but all within about 15 mile radius).  And Welcome to Active Rain!

Thank you so much Praful and Lanise.  It has never been easy to do over and over again, but always a new experience.  Happy Monday!  Thanks so much for the warm welcome.
