Right Back Where I Started and That's a Good Thing
Some of you may or may not have noticed my new "temporary" blog header. Well if you didn't, you do now since I've mentioned it right?
Due to a variety of reasons (personal and professional), I decided to give up property management and return to real estate sales only. Although property management can be profitable, it's just not as FUN as selling real estate.
By shutting down the property management end of my business, I so looking forward to having more time for myself and my family for which admittedly property management made be borderline neglectful of a family life.
In just the few short weeks that I assigned my PM accounts to another company, I am more excited than I've been in a very long time. I have far more energy and my stress level is virtually ZERO and that's the ABSOLUTE best part.
I always knew that if I closed the doors to Bham WIiRE Realty, I'd go straight back to Keller Williams. Afterall, I didn't leave Keller Williams because of any dislike of the company. I left because I wanted to manage rental properties and the KW office was just not up for that.
One thing that I am really excited about is returning to my role as facilitator of The Millionaire Real Estate Investor workshops (MREI) based on Gary Keller's best selling book of the same name. Hopefully, I'll get that kicked off by mid-February and target new investors in the local Birmingham market. As a matter of fact, the MREI gave birth to Bham WIiRE. Originally we were a group of women interested in investing in real estate. Each month, I would host MREI meetings and that was a ton of fun.
My website will remain www.bhamwiire.com for the time being considering that it's meaning still holds true. I am a Bham (Birmingham) Woman Investing in Real Estate (WIiRE). I'm just really glad I didn't name the site bhamwiirerealty.com which isn't as transportable. I've had some thoughts about moving my website and using www.charitacadenhead.com but I have some reservations about loosing all of my SEO value. Please feel free to share your opinions on that if you don't mind.
At any rate, this move is just another journey in my life for which I am glad to have come "full circle." Wish me luck as I set upon yet another adventure in the life and times of yours truly, Charita H. Cadenhea.
