The Annual Dogwood Arts Festival House & Garden Show is just around the corner (Feb. 9-11).  This is the 29th  year for the House & Garden Show which features the area's experts in home building, decorating and landscaping.

The festival is known throughout the Southeast for its beautiful trails along some of the prettiest roads in East Tennessee.

Oak Ridgers will have the opportunity to showcase the beauty of their own dogwood trail.  Begin from the Oak Ridge Turnpike (SR 95) and turn Right onto Louisiana Avenue and Left onto West Outer Drive.  The trail will continue along West Outer until you loop back at the road's end to take a Right onto Whipporwill Lane and Left onto Wisconsin Avenue, bringing you back to the Oak Ridge Turnpike.

The abundance of dogwood trees on this trail is amazing.  Dozens were planted in the fall of 2004, and nearly 100 were planted in late 2005.

The "Secret" is out....Plan to come see the beauty of Oak Ridge and it's Dogwood Trail.

Dogwood Arts House & Garden ShowThe 2007 House & Garden show will run from Friday, February 9th, to Sunday, February 11th.  For information and show hours, visit the Dogwood Arts Festival's web site at http://www.dogwoodarts.com/

Hello Dawn, thanks for the post. We here in the central valley of California will be having our Blossom Trail in full bloom in March. Of course now it's been freezing the oranges and such so with fingers crossed the blooms will arrive. I don't usually go, allergies, but I'll try to post some pics at that time. Thanks again. Go Lady Vols!
