REMAX-BE GREAT IN 2008

On Tuesday January 29th I had the pleasure of attending the REMAX -Be Great in 2008 Event.

The two guest speakers were none other than Margaret Kelly CRB-REMAX International CEO and REMAX International Chairman and founder Dave Liniger ABR,CRB.

Now....I'm not usually interested in going to meetings but I thought it would be a good time to finally meet the people who invented the balloon.

Dave Liniger talked about the market and was quoted as saying "The Market you see this year is the market you will see next year." I think he might be right. Margaret Kelly is a fascinating person and she talked about many of the different tools we have at our fingertips just waiting to use to help our clients.

I had a good time and I'm glad I was able to spend some time with other REMAX agents in the South FL area.

Neal, nice photo! I'm heading to this same event in Virginia next Wednesday. Looking forward to it. I saw Dave Liniger speak a few years back and he's quite the businessman and motivator.

Glad you went, Neal. Dave is incredibley smart as is Margaret. I was in a small broker meeting with Dave last year in Grand Rapids, very unassuming. Margaret is the best, met her a taping for RSN in MI. Great picture of all of you, (((sigh)))

Neal : They are in Jacksonville tomorrow and I'll be there. Gotta get up at 5am for the drive, but....hey I wanna hear Dave.

Neal - you clean up real nice :o) - good for you attending we can all use a little upbeat - today I attended a meeting where the chamber, the builders association, mortgage association and the REALTORS® association are launching a joint campaign - Best Buyers Market in 20 years - focusing on the good news stories and what great buys are out there - and there are a lot of them that are priced great

Meetings rule! Okay, not always, but it's good to get the good info and to get inspired. 2008 will be great. Keep up the good work in Weston.

Hello Neal the real deal! Is your balloon flying high? I'm glad it didn't burst. Don't listen to the negative and continue to believe the best and the best you shall receive. We must keep telling ourselves this. Fight the media and the naysayers and keep selling. People will always need to move and they will always need a place to live. Just be there for them. Dave and Gale are great folks! Together the allowed a great vision to become bigger than reality! I've met both of them a few times. I've not had the pleasure of meeting Diane! What a promo picture! WOW!

Ok...I'm back ...i'm glad some of you got to see me in my rarest form...no sleep that day...i was up since 4am and worked until 8pm that day so I didn't look my best...and no I didn't tie one over the night before...just had to deal with my pet who refused to sleep. It was a good time at the meeting and I'm glad I was able to meet them.

Look at you all decked out in a shirt and tie! You didn't tie one on, shame on you Neal:-) Sounds like the meeting was worthwhile, I'm not a big 'Meeting Guy' myself.

I'm going to the same event when it comes to MD next week. Looking forward to it! Good to hear that you enjoyed the meeting.

I finally get to take out all my expensive suits that I had made by a little man in the garment district when I worked there. Its too hot here and yes the meeting was cool and I am selective to which ones I attend. I'm actually going to Naples next month because I have to sit in a course for two days for my final course for my CRS designation so thats a long two days in meetings. Nut I am going to be hooking up with Shannon Lefreve for dinner.

Hi Neal - what a great picture that is, and that sounds like it was a great meeting. I don't think they have anything like that planned for up here, at least not that I know of, but if they do, I'll be there!

Neal, I saw Dave and Margaret today. I was going to write about it today as well. It was a great meeting. I don't think I use Remax.net enough. I have my picture with them too. I saw Dave about 15ish years ago and his presentation has really improved. I thought Margaret was Awesome! The market is whatever you believe it is!!

I personally never had luck with lead-street myself....I have taken out a few prospects but they drifted off into the sunset....the rest were all wrong numbers and emails that didn't work. I have had more real prospects using google,Activerain and localism and have closed on a few deals. Every lead I have gotten from lead-street has been already offered to someone else...call it bad luck or whatever else you want...if it works for you then use it...I still consider the leads they send but haven't seen a fresh one. At the very beginning...it seemed better but now...I don't even get many. I'd rather keep my comments here.

Thanks Neal. I guess I did miss it. I didn't stick around to get my picture taken as I was starving but I really enjoyed it. We really do have a lot of technology at our fingertips. Thanks!
