Just working on the Northern Palm Beach County real estate sales numbers for my latest article. All I can say is WILD!
If you want to know what the 1% are doing, tune in to see that they are buying high priced real estate in the Jupiter area. Sales of properties with price tags above $1,000,000 in December were up 360% over the previous year. Compared to the same period in Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens and Tequesta back in 2011 this is an enormous jump. Back then there was only 1 sale above $1.8M, the highest priced sale was $3.3M and the total of uber-luxury homes totaled just over $8M. Last month we had 11 sales above $1.8M, the highest priced sale rang in at $9.5M and total sales volume exceeded $60M.
