Amazing Arizona Comic Convention

The third annual convention will take place at the Phoenix Convention Center Jan 25-27, 2013.  The show will feature a floor packed with more than 100 exhibitors, an exciting artist alley with more than 100 artists, and autograph sessions.

Details:  3-8p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-6p.m. Sunday, Jan 25-27.  Phoenix Convention Center, 100 N Third St.   $25 Friday, $35 Saturday, $25 Sunday.  $50 for three day all access pass.

Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam

Ten of the biggest, baddest monster trucks, including Grave digger, Batman and Maximum Destruciton will turn Chase Field into a giant mud pit filled with bright, loud, car-crushing action.

Details:  7p.m. Saturday, Chase Field, Seventh and Jefferson streets in Phoenix.  $15.45-$133.90

 

Litchfield Park Native American Art Festival  “The Gathering”

The 2013 Native American Festival will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and highlight the finest southwest Native American artists including traditional and contemporary Native American jewelry, pottery, basketry, weaving, katsinas, painting, and beadwork. The event includes a variety of Native American art, entertainment and learning opportunities.

Details:  Admission fee is $5.00 per person; children 12 and under admitted free.

Litchfield Park Native American Art Festival  “The Gathering”

The 2013 Native American Festival will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and highlight the finest southwest Native American artists including traditional and contemporary Native American jewelry, pottery, basketry, weaving, katsinas, painting, and beadwork. The event includes a variety of Native American art, entertainment and learning opportunities.

Details:  Admission fee is $5.00 per person; children 12 and under admitted free.

 

Military Vehicle Show

The 22nd annual show sponsored by the AZ Military Vehicle Collector’s Club is the largest show in the Southwest including vehicles from WWI to Desert Storm. Several items will be for sale, including vehicle parts, tools, supplies & unique militaria, toys and art.

Details:  Peoria Sports Complex 16101 N 83rd Ave, Peoria.  General admission is $5, with free admission for kids and active military. Parking is free and food will be available for purchase.
