Welcome to Waters Edge, in Middletown, New York in the town of Wallkill.
This community was built in 1993.
It consists of two level townhouses that have 2 bedrooms and 1.5 baths or 2.5 baths and are between 1185 square feet and 1241 square feet.
There is ample parking outside your front door and it is easy to enter your townhouse. As you can see from the picture below, there are very few steps to enter it.
The first floor of each townhouse has a living room, dining room, eat-in-kitchen, and half bath.
The second floor has a master bedroom and an additional bedroom, 2 baths and a laundry room. The master bedroom has vaulted ceilings and a walk-in closet
Each townhouse has a front porch and a patio.
There is lake access and you can use the lake for fishing and boating with boats that don't have motors. As I drove into the complex I saw people ice-skating on the lake and playing ice hockey. How wonderful!
The views of the lake are beautiful. When Spring arrives I will update these pictures to show you the lovely lake and the green grass and great landscaping.
As a pet lover I am happy to say that pets are allowed!
The last townhouse to sell, at the time of the writing of this article, sold on August 29, 2012 for $149,350.
At the time of the writing of this article there are three units on the market. One is listed at $169,000. Two short sales are listed at $148,000 and $139,000 respectively.
Waters Edge is located in an area that is convenient for commuters going into New York City. The NJ Transit train station is nearby. Taking a train from this station, you will be able to reach NYC by going to either Hoboken or Secaucus. If you go to Hoboken, you will be able to take the Port Authority Trans Hudson (PATH) train to either lower Manhattan or 34th Street and 8th Avenue. The drive to NYC is about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
This community is also close to major highways, such as the NYS thruway (I-87), I-84, Route 17, and Route 211.
Waters Edge is near a variety of shopping including the Galleria shopping center at Crystal Run and is about 15 minutes drive to the wonderful Woodbury Commons Premier Outlet stores.
