Why Upgrade Appliances when you can Paint them?

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Executive

As much as I try to keep up on the latest, coolest inventions, this one I just found out about.  It's called Liquid Stainless Steel.  This product has been featured on Oprah and Rachel Ray and I think it is one of the most fabulous ideas I've heard of in awhile.  You can update your appliances as easy as painting - amazing!  You need to follow their directions and use the correct tools, making sure to brush the paint on properly, bu they have step-by-step directions on the website:

You can order it on their website and it is also sold in Home Depot and other hardware stores around the country.

You can use this to transform your cabinets, table tops, accessories, door handles, light fixtures, and on and on.  Can you imagine the money you would save on painting your appliances to update them rather than replace them?  Especially those appliances that work great and otherwise look good, but don't have the modern "stainless" look to them.  In this market, you want to make sure to make economical updates to your house before selling because you just won't get the money out of major projects when you resale.

This product is actually stainless steel in liquid form and it has an "automotive" finish.  You brush it on, 2-3 coats and then top with 2 coat of clear.  It won Home Magazine's Best New Building Product Award.

I am so impressed - can't wait to try it!
