WARNING: The pictures at the very bottom are not put there to scare you into a back button pushing frenzie. If you continue to read, I promise there will be something to learn when writing your blogs. This is a story of a blog that has found revivification through Google-ation and it was up to me to pull it together and give it some rejuvenation.
What am I talking about you say? Well, let’s start by going back just a bit.
It was August 25th, 2007, the day had been filled with beauty, gratitude and me, Recovering From a Heart Attack. After this wonderful experience (yes it was wonderful) I drove home :::75 mph::: with excitement to sit down with my laptop and write a blog about what had occurred that day. Word by word, my story was written from the heart and picture by picture all the feelings from that day came back even stronger. Then the comments came in and… God was pouring out His words through each and every voice that reached out to me.
Wait, wait! Please don’t leave yet, I really do have a point and that point isn’t to share the entire story with you. Hang in there with me my friends.
The blog post was titled Recovering From a Heart Attack.
Now I must confess, I didn’t post a lot of blogs at that time, mostly read others and commented a lot. I joined ActiveRain on May 10, 2007 and my First Post was on May 29th, 2007. I have learned so much since then. Such as:
Fast Forward to today, January 31st, 2008. See that cute little
My Blog Log Widget over there? Yeah, well that fun

little widget is
FREE and comes with a site stats button so that you can see how many people have been visiting your blog, where they came from and what links they clicked. Pretty cool, huh?
So today I checked to see how effective my blog is and what did I find to my complete surprise? Somebody had Googled “am I too young to have a heart attack”. Hmmm, I thought. What blog have I written that would be connected to a question like that? So I click to find my blog Recovering From a Heart Attack, 9th down on the 1st page. That was pretty darn exciting to see.
Then I clicked on my blog post and to my surprise found a whole lot of white space, photos scattered all about, text every which way and 'very loose', and some fabulous comments at the end.
That’s when my mind started going in all directions imaginable and I finally came to the conclusion that I must add some creativity to this post. Just like a house needs home staging, a woman needs a make over, a room needs remodeling and some hair needs a do over~my blog it too, needed some rejuvenating.
The pictures at bottom are the before and if you haven’t clicked already check out the after. My thought is, if that post is still getting read, it’s well worth my time to invest a little time into making it look better.
