5 Comments on OfficeMax of Winchester, VA Takes Great Care of Their Customers
Hi Mike - Mary & I recently had pretty much the exact opposite experience with an OfficeMax competitor with almost the same name. We were buying two desks for our new office, and the process took over 4 hours, visits to 3 of their stores, and dealing with 4 people whose quiet day we were obviously ruining. I know our local OfficeMax would have done better - they hardly could have done worse - but we were chasing a deal.
Dick, I ended up at this office supply store because of terrible service at their biggest competitor. Ironically, I had always gone to the other store because it was easier to get on and off of their parking lot. Their service was so bad that I finally had to draw the line and go to OfficeMax. I've no complaints for the 3-4 years I've been shopping there. It's funny, the other stores regional manager called me multiple times to try to coax me back. She sent me gifts and all kinds of special offers, but so far, outside of offering a new Porsche, she hasn't persuaded me.
Mike - It's always nice to get great customer service especially at the big chain stores because they seem to be the worst offenders. Your post has inspired me to write one of my own about the good service I have received at their competitors store here.
Absolutely, Jim. Good news is good news. Write it up! Have a great weekend.
Hi Mike -- very cool of you to publicly thank your local Winchester VA OfficeMax and specifically the associates and Karri Colvin. Nicely done.
