 Millennials’: The New Homebuying Generation.

As the market continues to move forward towards recovery, consumers are being more proactive, getting educated and preparing for homeownership.  Millennials consist of consumers between the ages of 18 to 34 and according to Trulia’s 2012 American Dream Survey, 43% of Millennials are already homeowners and most Millennials desire to own a home rather than rent.
Millennial Homebuyers

Through experience, I have learned that Millennials’ are technology driven and have educated themselves through the plethora of information available on the internet.

This generation of homebuyers are geared with iPods, iPhones, iPads and extremely optimistic about homeownership. They also utilize the Social Networks: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, etc…for their homebuying information. Millennials are also known for having an entreprenual mentality...their confident, and self-expressive.

EXPERIENCE TRUMPS ALL…

Even though these buyers have the ability to learn and gain their homebuying knowledge on the internet. It is important to note that it is important to seek out an experienced and knowledgeable agent who is not only tech savvy but educated with the market in the community they are seeking to purchase in.

Realtors®/Realtists® provide:

Expert guidance through the homebuying process: many homebuyer under estimate the many requirements that is necessary for purchasing a home. Buying a home requires understanding of disclosure forms, inspection reports, preliminary reports, etc….It’s always best to hire a knowledgeable agent that will help homebuyers package the best deal, avoid delays or costly mistakes.
