In 2006 I wrote about my problem with my client with the Fish N’ Flush. There were people who loved the aquarium commode and others who were less than enchanted. Reactions were strong, but fortunately my dilemma was fictional (but the Fish N' Flush was real).

Today’s offering is another real product that I would honestly recommend you remove from your home before you put it up for sale. If you want to share your loved one’s company in this very special way, good for you. I just feel that it might be a distraction to home seekers and that there might be potential buyers who are actually turned away just because of your toilet. The curiosity factor could draw people in, but in the end my verdict: Not worth the risk.

Ok, that is going way too far.  If you can't be apart for a few minutes while you do your business then you need to call Dr. Phil.

yuck...

There is a house in Wortington Ohio that has doors to two bathrooms in the master... Or did when it was on the market about 5 years ago.  I think one is a 1/2 and the other is a full.. one must have a door off the hall too... If you opened the two doors from the master it looked like two commodes side by side. The house was kind of funky...

That is too funny.  Can you image actually using it with ANYONE on the other side?

Hi Maureen - wow, now that's really different!  What on earth will they think of next???

I remember your aquarium post from back then - thought that was kinda cool, but this one - hmmm, I'm thinking I'll pass!   ;-)

Yes this would certainly attract the curious but would not be an asset to the property.

With that arrangement you never have to worry about leaving the seat up.

That's just so wrong.

However, my son needed a picture of a toilet yesterday (don't ask) and the fish toilet and sink came up - much to his enjoyment.  So if you ever have a 10 year old decision maker, the fish toilet is the way to go!

Oh no. I love my husband, but we have a rule, and this toilet just breaks all sorts of rules. The only thing it's missing is a cup holder so you can enjoy a cup of coffee while you're talking with your significant other on the other loo.  BLECH!

Maureen....  that's too funny.... lol   And I do remember that post from over a year ago. I can't believe people would even buy something like this to stick in their bathroom.  thanks for my Monday morning laugh, even though you wrote this last week.
