We have been getting a lot of snow in Spokane lately and this is a great time to examine your property and make sure your home is Ok to handle the increase weight and water fo the snow. Many people's carports have colapsed lately and this can present significant danger and damage for homeowners.
Brush off snow on carports and other areas that could cause damage or collapse. Keep your walkways clear of snow to avoid liability. Slow down when driving, anticipate sliding. And When your looking at homes to buy in the winter ask a lot of questions about the roof condition and be cautious when buying sight unseen.
Yeah many people don't bother to look at their roofs until it's too late and there is real trouble. Good Tip!
