Endorse a Fellow ActiveRain Member Contest is Rockin’ and Rollin’.

This Endorse a Fellow Activerain Memeberchallenge is in full swing and the endorsements are rolling in. I am so impressed with the quality people we have here in the Rain as writers (bloggers) and as professionals in their selected fields.

So far about a 100 endorsements have come in. Kathy Streib and I have been able to meet people we did not know before. And simply having someone else tell their stories makes it so much more credible.

There are only 11 days to go because all entries must be in by midnight PST on February 8. Why such a strange date? Because we didn’t want to interfere with the end of the month flurry of business that happens in the real estate and lending industries.

There are two important elements that must be included in your endorsement blog.

  1. Insert a photo of the person you are endorsing. This isn’t hard because you can simply right click on their photo and “save as” on your computer to insert.
  2. Have a link in your blog that links to the person’s ActiveRain blog or profile. This is not hard to do either as you can simply copy it from the top of your browser when you have their page open and paste it in your blog.


These two things MUST be in your post to qualify for the contest points. If you have submitted an entry, please make doubly sure that your link is working and goes to the right page. What good is a recommendation if nobody can get to the person’s information? And since this is about AR it must link to their ActiveRain blog or profile. Having additional links to outside sources is totally acceptable too but not required.

Go to the contest post and read some of the awesome recommendations that have come in already. I now know who should get referrals in many areas across the country because of these raving reviews and endorsements.

The countdown is on. Only a few more days in the Endorse a Fellow ActiveRain Member Contest. Please read the rules completely before entering and let those blogs keep rollin’ in.
