The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 is Looking for You!!!
The Dedham American Legion Band, Post 18 is seeking musicians and color guard members.
We will be having an Open House at the Post 155 Eastern Avenue in Dedham for all those interested on Monday, February 4th from 7-9pm. Light Appetizers & Soft Drinks, etc. will be provided. There will be giveaways, door raffle prizes and Bands will be playing as well.
Our Mission:
* Service Dedham, Needham and surrounding communities by providing performing groups
for ceremonies, concerts, parades and other venues.
* Promote Patriotism, The US Military and Veterans' Organizations.
* Provide the opportunity for musical and personal growth of members.
New members of middle school age and above are welcome & No Auditions.
Please contact us if you or anyone you know is interested in the band or if either of you want to donate any instruments. The membership consists of men and women who enjoy playing music together. The band will be performing at parades, concerts, ceremonies & other venues.
Uniforms, music, percussion, sousaphones provided. Other instruments can be provided as well.
