Hi Erick - Brad from Zillow here.  Just wanted to let you know that after watching your video, I thought it would be important to make a couple corrections regarding our data if you don't mind.

The information on our site and the data we provide comes from a variety of multiple sources and reliable resources. This is something we take very serious and is not some cruel joke by any means. I think when consumers watch or read this, you might be surprised how many actually like and use our site in their research and real estate journey.

The Zestimate on Zillow is not an appraisal and is determined by a complicated and detailed process using information and algorythym's which help to determine the Zillow Home Value Zestimate. We rely heavily on local agents and experts to help homeowners with the actual suggested sales-price and fair market value assessments of their homes.

You'll find our data accuracy table very useful when speaking to clients about the Zestimate on their homes. I believe we are the only home valuation model that provides an accountable report and grade/rating of our data.

While Zillow is a great place to start the home search and data gathering process, we clearly explain on our site in multiple locations the importance of working with a local and knowledgeable real estate professional. We also recommend getting a local "appraisal" to help determine the true market value of their home.

In closing, I'd like to add that Zillow is just a starting point for consumers much like WebMD, Google, and Kelly Blue Book etc.  I think the fact that your phone rings and consumers are having discussions with you regarding our site and the data they find on their home is a missed and awesome opportunity you might be overlooking? 

Zillow created a digital handshake with you and the local consumers that allowed you to easily show them how and why YOU are the expert and why they should be using and working with YOU right?
