What is National Wear Red Day?

American Heart Assoc Natl Wear Red Day Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women today, and the American Heart Association, along with the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute created National Wear Red Day® to raise awareness of this critical issue.

Each year, on the first Friday in February, millions of women and men come together to wear red, take action and commit to fighting this deadly disease.

Join the 10th Annual National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 1, 2013 and check out the America Goes Red Challenge.....America is going RED, are you?

Great post about wearing RED in February to remind peope that Heart Disease is the Number 1 killer of women. Having had a Heart Attack myself 13 years ago and still doing great, I am well aware of the importance of knowledge about heart disease and attacks. I even wear a red jacket in my business photo.
