I became acquainted with Roy Kelley from Montgomery County, Maryland, a few years ago. Through his blog posts and wonderful photographs, I have received a glimpse of the outstanding person and real estate agent he is. Roy has been a very successful agent with ReMax in Gaithersburg, Maryland and a graduate of the University of Virginia and UVA School of Law.
It does not take long to realize how well he captures flowers in his photos. The colors, texture, beauty and depth can leave you breathless. Whether he is on one of his journeys to Longwood Gardens with his wife Dolores or walking through his neighborhood, his pictures communicate the joy he has with life. It is captivating and encouraging.
As well as he photographs flowers, it is clear he is an even more wonderful man who has served his real estate clients with integrity, joy and great service. Roy often leaves uplifting comments or shares another picture. These small acts of kindness encourage me to look for the beauty in others and to encourage them. Over the more recent months I have become less active on the Rain, but Roy is one of the persons who has reached out and encouraged me to participate more regularly. It is this kind of behavior which causes me to recommend him to anyone. I know he is retired from active real estate engagement, but he is always available to encourage and offer his words or wisdom. He still actively reports on community and neighborhood events, softly and gently inviting others to be active participants in the community.
Look for Roy and know you will find a rich blessing as you learn to know him better.
