We happily enjoy more than 300 days of sunshine each year here in Havasu. The sunny weather translates to a sunny disposition of Havasu's residents. There's always something to celebrate. The Chamber of Commerce is in final preparations for its annual Lake Havasu Winterfest.
Beginning at 10am on February 9th and 10th, McCulloch Blvd will allow only foot traffic for the Lake Havasu Winterfest. More than 200 vendors and thousands of people come to Lake Havasu City every year to participate. Local artisans will be hawking their wares, including fine art, jewelry and other handcrafted items. There will be pony rides for the kids, live musical entertainment, cooking demos and more. Of course, as always, food vendors will be on-site with scrumptious BBQ and other tasty treats. Listen to local singers show off their talents at the Havasu Idol competition. If you love cars, you're in luck. This year, the Havasu Dragsters are sponsoring a car show over on Scott Drive showcasing some amazing automotive wonders.
There's so much going on, you don't want to miss it! The 28th Annual Lake Havasu Winterfest takes over McCulloch Blvd on February 9th and 10th. Admission is free and parking is easy. Life at the Lake is good indeed!
