Open House Overrun by Buyers
Copyright (c) 2013, Deanna and Jim Gilbert
We held an Open House at a Chantilly, Virginia property near employment, retail and commuter routes and in an area with popular school systems. The Open House was 1/20/2013.
We ran out of flyers, lost track of parties of people in the house, didn't even have time to greet everyone coming through the door. We have never seen so many people coming to an Open House.
There is basically nothing else for sale within $100K of the price and within 2 miles.
We received 5 offers, all over asking price. We are in the midst of a round of asking for Highest Best and Final Offers now.
It appears that the Spring Rush is on!
