Turlock Ca Celebrates Colin Kaepernick Day!
It's official now. My hometown of Turlock Ca is going to proclaim Sunday February 3, 2013 as Colin 
Kaepernick day. There will be an official proclamation issued on February 2nd, 2013. The proclamation will be presented at the Turlock Believes tailgate party which is Saturday February 2 from 11am - 2pm. The Turlock Believes tailgate party will be at Pitman High School.
You might be wondering why my hometown of Turlock Ca is doing all of this for the starting quarter back of the San Francisco 49ers? You did know that Colin is the starting quarterback for the 49ers? The reason is because my hometown of Turlock Ca is also the hometown of Colin Kaep
ernick. Mr. Kaepernick is also a graduate of Turlock's Pitman High School.
It seems like the entire town is now a Colin Kaepernick fan. You can buy a Kaepernick hot dog at the local hot dog place downtown. If you ever happen to be in Turlock be sure to stop by Main Street Footers and try their Kaepernick dog. The local bakery, Olde Tyme Pasteries, also has Colin Kaepernick themed items such as cookies and cup cakes. The cookies are delicious, I know, I tried them.
This weekend should be a pretty exciting one for football and Colin Kaepernick fans here in Turlock. While I have never been a San Francisco 49ers fan (I root for the other bay area team) I will surely be watching this years Super Bowl with a bit more interest. I am certainly a Colin Kaepernick fan.
