Super Bowl Food – Denwoody Dip
Oh, I think my favorite foods on Superbowl Sunday are the dips. I posted one earlier. And, now Amanda has one of the best.

Like many I’m working on my menu for game day and wanted to share one of my favorite dip recipes. It doesn’t get any easier than this and it’s always a hit.
Denwoody Dip
1 - pound hot sausage (bulk)
2 - 8 ounce packages of cream cheese (room temperature)
2 - cans Rotel tomatoes with chiles (mild)
Cook sausage until well browned and drain thoroughly. Wipe the pan out and put the sausage back in adding the cream cheese and Rotel tomatoes. When it all melts put it in a greased casserole dish and het in 350 degree oven until hot. Serve with toasted baguette slices. You can also make this the day before if you’re trying to get organized before the game, just make sure you set it out and let it get to room temperature before putting in the over to heat it up.
