We closed escrow on August 30, 2012. The house was owned by a family who lived out of state and had it as a rental for several years. It needed lots of work and updating to today's standards, and they were done!
It's a gorgeous Simi Valley home south of Ventura Boulevard. I had it on the market for 60 days and a family called to view the property. They didn't know I knew but I was aware they fell in love with the potential of this home as soon as they walked around inside.
It came time to write an offer and they, of course, asked that I represent them...we negotiated for a couple of days, the sellers acquiesced and so did the buyers...came to an agreement and opened escrow.
We went through all the usual inspectons, overcame many of them, credited for some and finally got down to the end and we closed in August 2012.
So, the buyers did extensive remodeling, redid the entire kitchen, breakfast room area and it sure looks gorgeous. I took a picture to show you...WOW...I can only say that they are so happy and I felt so good when I visited the other day to enjoy a cup of tea with them.
