In keeping with finding and following that specially made, still, small voice inside of ourselves, here is a great motivationg moment from the award-winning film Persuit of Happyness.

Thanks to Gary for posting!

Listen To Your VoiceI have in recent times very much enjoyed reading from others here about what to blog about and talk in a conversational manner in their blogs with their readers. In the end after about 50 posts we find our VOICE. It is an understanding of who we most are at our core. For the non bloggers and also as other ways to find your VOICE people and experiences that shape our lives help define us solidly. But today I thought I would discuss,

What Are The Next Steps Beyond Finding Your Voice?

Simple. LISTEN and FOLLOW that voice. In the 2006 movie, The Pursuit of Happyness, actor Will Smith goes from lowly white elephant bone scanner product salesman while living homeless for a year with his wife leaving him and taking care of his son to that dream job of stockbroker. It isn't easy but he LISTENS and FOLLOWS his voice that he can do it, despite circumstances and encourages his son too, to listen to that INNER PART of you. FIND your voice but then LISTEN to it and FOLLOW IT.

HUGE payoff too with your HAPPY NESS

That was a great movie. I was just listening to a webinar that also mentioned finding our voice. I think it's interesting that you've zeroed in at around 50 blog posts as the crucial number.

Thank you Laura for your kindness in re-blogging this post highlighting some of the lessons from that movie, a movie everyone should see if they haven't. You are very special....  That 50 number was an empirically dervied number I figured out on my own about finding the voice, but others have said that at about that time you hear the VOICE.

Hi Laura, this is such a great message. I loved the movie and I have had to go through the listening to the voice, so that I could hear my own voice. Thanks for sharing.

Laura,

I absolutely cried like a baby during certain parts of the movie, sometimes due to happiness other times due to happiness.

Make's me feel like taking out all my motivational movies, including ROCKY.

Thank you.  I have to go find that movie and watch it again.  Also, I have one dream in my life, that I've never really tried to make happen.  I'm going to pursue that. This year.
