Everyday we work with buyers looking in every neighborhood and suburb in the Memphis area but all too often we forget, we are selling Memphis as a whole when marketing on the internet.  People looking to relocate from Dallas, Boise, or Lincoln usually have no clue where to find Germantown, Collierville or Bartlett.  Yes, that is what the Real Estate Agent is for, but do we spend too much time trying to market the exlusive neighborhoods?  Do you remember why your city flourished and upon what was it built? 

 For me? That's easy.

Memphis, the home of The Blues, Rock 'n Roll, Bar-B-Que, and of course Elvis.  A city rich in history, it contains the Civil Rights Museum located at the Lorraine Motel, location of the MLK assaassination.  Beale Street, Memphis is May (where you'll never find any better music or food anywhere else in the world! ) and Graceland....did I mention Elvis already? 

 There is nothing better than spring in Memphis, concerts in the Garden, trips to the Zoo, strolling in Midtown and Downtown neighborhoods.  There is so much to see an do and even more to sell.  Memphis also voted one of the most  affordable cities to buy!  So the next time you're selling in the suburbs and highlighting all the great points of interest in our many fine neighborhoods, don't forget a quick, short history lesson to let your client know they are buying more than home, but a lifestyle.
