I've been digging and surfing, churning and searching  . . .

I've been looking for something that I knew would express the absolute success and spirit of the Stage It Forward Round Tables in Atlanta this past month. And at the same time express my gratitude to Kathy Nielsen for being my trusted partner in facilitating the event (I actually have been suffering from Kathy withdrawals since the event on the 17th).  And something worthy of our appreciation to IKEA for hosting our event.  And lastly something to express our appreciation to Gina McNew for airing a summary of the event on her radio show.

I knew with persistence and patience it would come to me, and it has!  Without a doubt . . . it has!

Now everyone be kind to Kathy and I regarding this picture above.  This was taken at the radio station.  I came from a near death interstate dilemma where a huge bag of trash exploded on my wind shield and then attached itself to the frame of my car.  I had been standing on the side of the road for an hour with trucks whizzing by at 80 miles an hour moments before.  Kathy had been staging a vacant all day and was just rebounding from falling down a flight of stairs.  And, Gina, well, she was perfect!

 If you haven't heard the interview with Craig Schiller, Kathy and myself, listen here!

Thx for reading, and it's okay to make comments on how "tattered" Kathy and I look.  We will know it's out of love!  We just ask that you please be gentle!

Hi Maureen!  Me? Fab Dahling?  You got to be kidding!  That doesn't even happen on a good Day! The one in a million is questionable, too, but I'll take it!  thx! :-)

Terrylynn -- do you know you go very well with a cup of coffee?  In the AM I get up, make my bed, pour my cup of coffee, go to AR and if I had done a post the night before, there's Terrylynn there to greet me with a pleasant comment.  I LOVE THAT!  Maybe you could start them with, "Good Morning, Karen . . ."  What'd ya think?

Hi Marci, my southern savvy friend!  Yes, we be workin' girls, that Kathy and I!  Glad you listened -- I thought Craig's history regarding AR was interesting.

Hi Carole!  The founders of AR are on Gina's show today at 1:00 -- Glad you liked and mentioned that quote; I loved it when I found it.  Thought it fit the round tables so well.  The quote is probably 75 years old and still works!  amazing!

My story - when I was on my way to IKEA having left the MN/WI round table a plastic dry cleaning bag blew up and attached itself across my windshield. I was high up on a sharp curving single lane overpass - what a hoot. Needless to say I shopped for a loooong time before getting back in the car and driving to my hotel.

Karen;

   You are my new best friend! Perfect??? ha!  I appreciate the kind words and so enjoyed having you all on the show with me.  Yes, I did get to speak with Bob Stewart today and he was wonderful!  I learned so much and hope that every who tuned in did also.  Now today was a very good hair day for me and was the camera rolling....NO!!!!  I swear...I am getting a Rodney Dangerfield complex...I GET NO RESPECT at the station!!!  ha!  It was a month before they even gave me the code to use the company restrooms! ha!

     I so enjoyed the round table and the opportunity to meet so many wonderful, talented fellow stagers.  Once again, thank you to you, Kathy and Craig.  You and Kathy were real troopers and I appreciate so much that you took time from your busy schedules to participate in the show.  Hope to be able to welcome you both on again in the near future.  We'll take a spa day first...what do you think???  Would that be a business expense???? hmmmmm......

Cheers!
