Hi John,

About 4 days ago I saw the cat walk to the neighbors yard on the other side and usually he walks back across but nope, he was running and I realized he had something big in his mouth. I think he caught a gopher from next door and all I can say is keep on catching them so they stay out of my yard.

Hi Sharon,
I think my neighbor's cat is Mr. Jingles. He is a pretty cat and quite a good hunter. Have a great weekend.

Kristin, oh oh, I hope not! Whenever I see cats running or rather crouching around in the neighborhood I get nervous about "my" birds!

Hi Joshua,

It is always interesting and fun to see the cat running across the fence. Funny how they want to take their prize catch home to show to their owners.

Hi Patty,

I can see you feeding the neighborhood cat's as you love animals and are just a nice person. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.

Hi Donna,

Did you see the picture of the birds? There was one hiding inside the tree and I did not see it until I downloaded the photos. I thought the birds looked so cute just standing there on alert of the cat on the fence. I bet they have an alert system to report when the cat is in the area and thankfully when he is gone.

Hi Wayne and Jean,

Yes it is just animals doing what they are born to do; hunt. Very interesting and my dogs love to run and chase the cat as he crosses the fence. Just the full circle of life.

Hi Silvia,

I am not sure about the cat catching birds but I have seen him going home with gophers. I say keep on hunting because they may dig under the other neighbors fence and get into my back yard eventually. I had gophers in the front yard and had to tear up my side lawn to get rid of them. My other neighbor has a pair of tabby cats and they used to come and get my gophers....so glad as the fewer the better.  But of course I do not want the cat to eat the birds as they are my backyard birdies.

You are probably right but I try not to think about it. I Know it is cat, dog, bird thing that no one can change.

He is a good hunter and I really want him to keep getting those gophers as they destroy the lawns. Thanks for stopping by.

We have kitties and they will stand on their hind legs to look at birds in the bushes and trees.  Of course, we never let them outside to actually get one!

Hi Ron,

The cat is my neighbors but I have only seen gophers in his mouth. He might not be fast enough for birds but his determination is great.  I think it is so cute to see the cats through the window trying to get the birds.

FYI: I just liked everyone on your FB Like post.

Hi Steve,

He is a good bird watcher and my dogs alert me when he is around. He runs when they start barking.
