Whole Foods in Katy now Opened for Business
Wednesday January 30, 2013 the brand new Whole Foods Store in Katy Grand Lakes officially opened to the public. I have to say based on the number of the cars in the parking lot each day that the opening has been a huge success. I stopped late yesterday afternoon after 5 Pm for a quick look and the place was swarming with shoppers.
The new store is located on Fry Road just east of Highway 99 or Grand Parkway in front of grand lakes neighborhood. The actual address is 6601 S. Fry Road Katy Texas and phone is 281-769-5670.
The store has many special items and or areas including a pull up car bar with beer, wine and food; just for kids section; Dinner on the spot where a family can buy its dinner, salad or pizza; Sweet tooth Cookie bar; loads of organic, local and seasonal items special diets area of raw foods, vegan options and gluten free.
The store donated 1 % of the first 5 days operation revenues to five different local charities.
I think this store will do incredibly well here in Katy and it is off to a great start.
