XLVIIA Sibling Rivalry will be displayed in all the glory of Super Bowl XLVII. Never before have two brothers held the positions of head coaches with the two competing team in Super Bowl history. This Super Bowl XLVII John & Jim Harbaugh are receiving nearly as much of the limelight today as many of the star players like Flaco, Lewis, Kaepernick and many others.
One brother will win and the other will lose there are no ties in the Super Bowl. But the family is tight and these two brothers will continue to love and respect each other regardless of the outcome. A sibling rivalry can be the demise of some or a pinnacle of achievement for others. Let the best brother or brothers team win!
Hi John, as you know I am in Raven's country. My husband is about to crawl into the big screen TV!
Turned out to be a very good game. Great to see coaches John & Jim Harbaugh do their jobs to the fullest and then hug in brotherly love at the end. Hope you enjoyed the game as much as Debbie, Dixie Dawg and I did.
John I saw an interview with the parents and they asked who are they going to support? Their answer was the looser will get their support!
John Great game although you would not have thought so after the first half. I understood the dad was going to greet the losing son first...compliments to family. Good game and I agree the power outage was ill timed. I always appreciate a close game.
The parents gave a good and smart answer John and Endre. And I bet John and Jim will be tight as ever soon. After all they did make history tonight.
We didn't get home from church in time to see the half time show. Which is unusual. We normally come in just in time. Oh well.... it doesn't sound like I missed much.
John:
What a great game, really enjoyed every minute. Have a wonderful week.
Hope you had a great time watching the game John! We actually taped the game so I could watch the commercials later..
Hi John. I predicted that a Harbaugh would win the Super Bowl:) I was right/
John, it looks like all those cute little/large animals knew how to pick their team to win? they would just head over to the Raven dish and chow down, makes you wonder if there was some foul play here...ha!
History for the family that is for sure.
"who turned the lights out?" ??????
John won this one and Jim lost if you look only at the score, but both teams should be applauded for effort! Enjoy your day!
I hope you were happy with the results of the game. Many of us in Maryland are walking a little taller today.
Have an outstanding week. Be sure to have your camera in hand to capture the special moments.
John,
Personally I like Jim the 49 er's coach better but that is personal preference and I do not like the gangster Ravens. Exciting game in 2 nd half but I feel sorry for the poor low level field maintenance employees who will take the hit for the power issue.
John, I think that HAD to be very difficult for those parents, not being able to root for either side. However, being so very proud to have BOTH sons in the Super Bowl!
John it almost felt scripted, The Ravens crush the niners in the first half, then come out and score on the opening kick then to have a TIME OUT called in the form of a 34 minute blackout only to have the niners come out with 3 quick scores to lose in teh end with a poorly coached play. My thoughts who reminded who the 4 million dollar commercials need to be watched and a blowout means less viewers...... hmmmm can you tell i was bored? It will make a great Lifetimne movie one day.
There were quite a few 'never befores' in this Superbowl match John. Interesting game even if you weren't a football fan!
I am sure their parents are proud of them both. I wonder how they handled the pressure?
John did you see the TV footage of Baltimore's downtown streets after the game? It was a total mob scene with a bunch of rowdy Ravens fans. And I agree that both teams should celebrate their great seasons.
