Houston Audubon Docent Guild Offers Saturday in Nature

The Houston Audubon Docent Guild is offering a “Saturday in Nature” at the Edith L Moore Nature Sanctuary. The program begins at 9 AM until noon. The Edith L Moore Nature Sanctuary is located at 40 Wilchester Houston, Texas. It is about 14 miles from I-10 and Highway 99 intersection meaning it is not far from Katy Texas. Normally it is an easy drive in non-rush hour times.

This program is offered on a specific Saturday during February thru May with a differnt theme being featured on each day.

The Sanctuary is open 365 days per year with the gates opening at 7 AM and close at 7 PM ( 9 PM during summer months). All dogs have to be on a leash but are allowed into the sanctuary.

This place sounds like a great place to visit and do crafts. I love crafts. Too bad that I don't live closer so that I could participate.

Howdy and and afternoon Bob

Bob my friend, folks sure are in for a mighty enjoyable time at the Edith L Moore Nature Sanctuary, attending the Houston Audubon Docent Guild Nature programs. I sure do like the sounds of the Nature Sanctuary, and I sure like that it has a Restored Log Cabin.

Have a good one

This looks like a great family program.  I would encourage some of the young people to learn how to use their cameras to photograph the beauty of nature.
