Why are homes selling like hotcakes?
Home prices are increasing due to the limited inventory of homes for sale. As home prices increase, more home sellers are selling and cashing out on the equity, or purchasing larger homes. The average days on the market decreases, as fewer short sales (which typically take longer to close) are on the market.
