Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Around Atlanta

April 1 is the deadline for signing up for the Homestead Exemption and Senior Schoot Tax Exemption in Cherokee County for 2013 property taxes.  These can mean large saving to a homeowner.  In Woodstock, any homeowner can file for the Homestaed Exemption.  Cherokee County and Cobb County residents 62 or older can file for Senior School Tax Exemption.  In Cherokee County there are also exemptions for those with certain types of disabilities.  You many want to check with your local county tax office to learn if you qualify for additional exemptions.
