Does Your Short Sale Suffer From The Butterfly Effect?

By
Real Estate Agent with Elizabeth Anne Weintraub, Broker DRE #00697006

butterfly effect on a short saleWhen I look through my inventory of closed short sales, and believe me, I have closed a lot of short sales over the years, hundreds, I am amazed at the number that were problematic. Now, you'd think that after all of these years, this Sacramento short sale agent would have short sales down pat, but that's not how short sales work.

You don't close one and then think you know everything about them. In fact, the truth is the more short sales you close, the less you really know because they are all different. What you do know is to expect the unexpected and how to overcome problems so they do close.

Which is the point of my blog on my personal blog today at The Butterfly Effect on a Sacramento Short Sale.

Elizabeth: I actually like to do short sales and it sounds like you do as well. As long as you recognize the fact that each one, as you say, is different!

I could not have said it better. Sometimes self-proclaimed experts do not really have the experience that they state that they do.

It's so true.  The more short sales you do, the more you realize that no two are ever going down the same way.  What a bank rejects one way, when presented another, they will accept.

Morning Elizabeth to expect the unexpected is the wisdom of a wise and experienced agent.  Until I have check in hand I look for the bomb to drop.
